Two Longhouse Kits Completed in Buckinghamshire

Two Longhouse Kits Completed in Buckinghamshire

This week, two Longhouse kits have been completed near Buckingham. Nestled behind a charming local pub, the site occupies a compact area thoughtfully planned by our clients to make the most of its surroundings. A steep track winds up to the houses, offering them an elevated position that grants sweeping views over the town’s clay-tiled rooftops and out toward the rolling hills of Buckinghamshire.

The Longhouses are positioned at right angles to one another, creating distinct outdoor spaces for each home with minimal overlooking, fostering both privacy and a sense of openness. Careful attention has been given to parking and landscaping to seamlessly integrate the designs with the natural character of the area. Each client has tailored the Longhouse design to align with both the site’s attributes and their personal vision.

Our clients are now moving forward with the build with their local contractor, with timber cladding and standing seam roofing being installed to complete the exterior, while first-fix plumbing and electrics proceed inside. We are looking forward to seeing how both builds take shape over the coming months.
